Not far from the Little Tokyo train stop, amongst the bustling shoppers and tasty eateries, a person you think might be an undercover spy strolls towards you. You’ve been told precisely what they’re wearing, and now it’s time to meet with them by saying a secret spy phrase. You’re the shy one in the group, so your extroverted partner takes the leap, and speaks to a complete stranger. Did they pick the right person?

This is the signature moment for Spies Among Us, an immersive-show-meets-scavenger-hunt opening in June in Little Tokyo. Audience members, playing solo or in pairs, receive clues by text and phone call with the goal of finding the undercover spy wandering the area. The show offers big thrills and laughs as colorful characters from opposing spy agencies vie for the audience’s attention.
